In 2011, Tomas Keppens came up with the idea of applying automotive technology to speed pedelecs. “This has to offer a worthy alternative to the car so that people will adopt them more quickly,” explains the founder. Everything accelerated in 2017, when Tomas and his co-manager Jorrit Heidbuchel started the company IntuEdrive. They used advanced technology to develop Ellio, the electric bike that gets people out of their cars. The maximum speed of the speed pedelecs varies between 25 and 45 km/h. They are therefore not only of interest to experienced riders, but also to a much wider target group. Ellio also directly provides after-sales service. “We recommend planning a check-up every 5,000 kilometers or twice a year. This maintenance can be carried out on site or even at home,” explains Jorrit. “We were looking for service vehicles that were fully equipped and spacious enough to accommodate a full workshop, similar to the one we have at our headquarters. »

The Peugeot Boxer has more than adequate cargo space and ATL Renting has further reinforced the floor and the walls. It is possible to fit a complete warehouse of spare parts in the service vehicle: all interventions and checks can then easily be carried out on site.
